Leadership

Thomas Reinheimer

Chief Executive Officer

Thomas Reinheimer has been the CEO of Veritec Solutions since its inception in 2001 and brings over 25 years of management experience across multiple industries. Prior to Veritec, Tommy was a manager with Andersen Consulting’s financial services practice in Charlotte, North Carolina.

Tommy earned his bachelor’s degree from Clemson University and his MBA from the University of South Carolina. He also holds a Project Management Instructor Certification earned in 1993.

John Greenwald

Chief Operating Officer

John Greenwald joined Veritec in 2018 as the Chief Operating Officer. Prior to Veritec, John has had a successful career advancing technology and business development for a number of blue-chip companies, including General Motors, Herman Miller, and AT&T.

John earned his bachelor’s degree from Western Michigan University and his MBA from the University of Notre Dame.

Steve Alpert

Director of Program Management

Steve Alpert is Veritec’s Executive Director of Regulatory Program Management. Steve is the primary liaison for state regulatory programs and oversees the day-to-day program management. He also responsible for implementation support and project management.

Steve has successfully managed and implemented dozens of projects over his 25-year career with companies like Blue Cross/Blue Shield, Morrison Construction, and DTR Software International. In addition to project management, Steve has also led software product development and IT QA/testing teams.

Steve is a certified PMP, a Six Sigma Green and Yellow Belt, and holds a pilot’s license, as well as licenses for Series 7 and Series 63 securities, Life, Health, and Dental Insurance, and Variable & Fixed Annuities. Steve earned his Bachelor’s degree from Jacksonville University.

Daphnanie Patton

Director of Operations

Daphnanie Patton is the Executive Director of Operations for Veritec. Since joining Veritec in 2007, Daphnanie has been instrumental in implementing and improving business operations. She oversees the operations team for four lines of business in both Jacksonville, Florida and Tempe, Arizona.

Daphnanie’s 15 years of proven success implementing operational processes, customer service management, and state program compliance made her integral in the implementation of Florida’s Medical Marijuana ID Card Program and its continuing success. Daphnanie started her career in the United States Navy before obtaining her bachelor’s degree from Texas A & M University.

Dean Kerner

Director of Product and Service Delivery

As Veritec’s Director of Product Delivery and Service, Dean Kerner has been an integral part of the design, implementation and oversight of 17 different solutions across multiple industries. Dean has over 20 years of experience in strategic planning and implementation, software management, business/financial insight, leadership, talent acquisition and development, performance analysis, problem solving and client implementation/retention.

Dean holds a bachelor’s degree from Florida State University and has completed the Invitational Leadership Program at the University of North Florida.

John Barnes

Governmental Affairs Manager

John joined Veritec in the summer of 2016 as our Government Affairs Manager. John is a governmental relations expert and serves as our in-house expert on all legislative policies nationwide for the wide-array of industries Veritec provides regulatory services to. John has met with numerous state legislators and representatives to share regulatory insight and best practices for their states regulatory programs. John has also testified before multiple state legislatures as a regulatory subject matter expert.

John earned his bachelor’s degree from the University of North Florida and his master’s degree from the University of Florida.

John has served on numerous local, state and national boards, including the State Regulatory Committee for the National Cannabis Industry Association, the Florida Board of Governors on Higher Education, and Jacksonville Chamber of Commerce.
